Shipping Information

Silky Store NZ offers free freight on orders over $200 and we only currently ship within New Zealand. And due to the nature of some of our tools, we have to have different freight rates on some of our larger items.

Standard Rates
Standard North Island (value up to $50) - $8.00
Standard North Island (value over $50) - $12.50 
Standard South Island (value up to $50) - $7.00
Standard South Island (value over $50) - $10.00

Our standard courier and will take 2 - 3 working days. The standard charges include rural deliveries. Please allow an extra 1 - 2 days for a rural delivery.
*this excludes pole saws, pole loppers, long handle grubbers and our Hasegawa Tripod Ladders, and orders to off-shore Islands (such as Waiheke, Great Barrier, Stewart Island and Chatham Islands etc) - see more information below.

Pole Saws, Pole Loppers and Long Handle Grubbers
Any orders for longer items such as Pole Saws, Pole Loppers or Long Handle Grubbers will incur an additional delivery fee. This is due to the unusual shape and size of these items.

Ladders - depending on the Island
Shipping ladders around the country is a challenge because of their size and shape, therefore, please contact us directly on either sales@silkystore.co.nz or 03 547 6874. We will then calculate the freight for you and send through an invoice for payment. 

Off-Shore Islands
We are charged an extra Island Courier fee when we send things to off-shore Islands such as Waiheke, Great Barrier, Stewart Island, and Chatham Islands etc. Unfortunately, we cannot separate these Islands from the standard regions for our freight costings, so we may need to pass on part of this extra cost to you. Please place your order as per normal, and we will be in touch if there is any extra freight to pay. To avoid any possible extra charges however, if you have a residential address on the mainland somewhere that we can send to, we can hopefully keep away from these charges.

Additional Information
Shipping Times - no orders are shipped on weekends and public holidays.
Addresses - We cannot ship to PO Boxes.
