Combined with the special lever cutting action and lightweight design, these features position Castellari amongst the world's market leaders.

The CASTELLARI SECATEURS are designed with an indentation in the blade that cuts down friction and therefore increases penetration, while the striking forged aluminium counter-blade allows you to perform clean cuts even after months of work. The whole effect and the stroke of the blade against the counter-blade considerably cuts down wrist kickback. The ergonomic swept-back handles are designed to further reduce the impact of wrist kick that can be an issue for the commercial user. Each of the secateurs we offer have proved immensely popular in vineyards and olive groves and are also suitable for general garden work. Both secateurs are the lightest in their categories, and this is achieved thanks to the weight reduction that is only possible with forged products. These secateurs are suitable for all types of cutting: viticulture, fruit harvesting, olive harvesting and gardening.

Mirai-Me Smooth Cutting
The teeth of the future! Silky blades have precision ground razor sharp teeth, with 4 cutting angles along their length. They leave an especially smooth surface after cutting and are ideal for pruning, greatly reducing the risk of infection. They can rip-cut, cross-cut and slant-cut. |
Non-Set Teeth The blades are made from SK-4 high carbon steel and are taper ground (i.e. thicker at the tooth edge and thinner at the back of the blade). This taper reduces resistance giving smoother, easier, and faster cutting performance. |
Impluse Hardening Using a special high frequency heating technique, teeth are heated instantly and hardened. Because only the teeth are heated, the blade retains its normal flexibility. Hardened teeth stay sharp about 3 times longer than non-hardened teeth. |
Four Rows of Teeth Silky Saw teeth are set in such a way that there appears to be 4 rows of them. These are rough cutting hand saws for heavier tasks. They can rip-cut, cross-cut and slant-cut. |
Hard Chrome Plating Hard Chrome Plating produces an exceedingly hard and durable surface. The blades are resistant to rust and the effects of resin, and they are finely or mirror polished and wipe clean easily. |
Sharpenable Because impulse-hardening is not applied, the blades marked with this symbol can be sharpened with a file. |

Rubber Handles Almost all Silky Saws have rubber compound elastomer handles, either inserted or vulcanised to ABS plastic or steel. Rubber handles are more comfortable to hold, reduce vibration, and offer superior grip in the cold and wet. |
Extra Large Teeth
Typically, this saw will be for use in forestry or heavy-duty arborist work. The teeth configuration will range between 3 and 7 teeth per 30mm and will give a very aggressive cut. In general you will be surprised by the smoothness of the cut. |
Large Teeth A saw with large teeth will be ideal for use in heavy/medium pruning tasks, root cutting, and construction. The number of teeth will range between 7 and 8 teeth per 30mm. An aggressive and smooth cut will be achieved. |
Medium Teeth Ideal for pruning work or construction, a medium teeth configuration usually has 10 teeth per 30mm and will give a cleaner finish when compared to larger teeth saws. |
Fine Teeth These saws are likely to be used for gardening and woodworking, and a fine teeth configuration typically comprises of 13 to 20 teeth per 30mm and will achieve a clean finish. |
Extra Fine Teeth These saws will have very fine teeth ideal for woodworking and carpentry, and range between 20 and 32 teeth per 30mm, and a very smooth finish can be expected. |
