Impressive service.

I found this business on line as I required a new sheath for my tree trimming tools. While browsing the site I found what I required & also bought some replacement blades (Pocketboy & Ultra Accel). I placed the order online & was in Richmond the next day working so drove to the business. Introduced myself & both men were super helpful & polite, the order was not ready & my items were sourced & prepared for me in a couple of minutes. I will totally buy ALL of my replacement/new Silky gear from this business from here on in, not only for the service but also for the pricing Thank you & looking forward to my next visit. Fast, friendly and efficient

Stu was quick with comms & promptly organised delivery which arrived next day, which is rare to Waiheke. Great service.

Does what it says

Broke the blade on a branch that was a little too big for the tool. This replacement blade was perfect.

Replacement blade

Good experience using the saw; until the blade snapped 2/3rds up the blade at the place where there is a hole in the blade. A bit surprised this happened but the new blade is excellent

Silky Store

Hi David, We take breakages seriously and after 17 years experience selling these saws and following up we've found blades only usually snap when someone tries to force it when stuck, rather than sliding it out of a cut. The blades are designed to cut on the pull and clear debris on the push - and should be removed if they ever get stuck with the same action.
