DESCRIPTION

The CAMPAGNOLA F6 and STAR 50 loppers share rank as the most powerful air powered shears in the range. They can cut 50mm hard wood with minimal effort making it ideal for use in the forestry, horticulture and grounds keeping industries. The forged blade and extended anvil system allows deeper penetration into heavy canopies and greater hold on the branch. The ST50-SHORT is especially popular in the viticulture industry when re-working old vines. A compressor that delivers 17cfm (cubic feet per minute of compressed air) will comfortably supply 2 x F6 or Star 50 loppers at the same time. It is recommended that hose with an inside diameter of no less than 6mm be used for lengths up to 100 metres. It is also recommended that when more than one unit is to be operated at the same time, the hose length be limited to no more than 50 metres with no less that a 6mm internal diameter.

The difference between the F6 and Star 50 is the position of the anvil (hook) and the blade. The choice is normally user preference and dependent on what angle of attack is required. Suitable for use in the forestry industry and orchards, including stone fruit, olives, nuts, citrus varieties and vineyard use, and reworking of old vines.
