The CASTELLARI SECATEURS are designed with an indentation in the blade that cuts down friction and therefore increases penetration, while the striking forged aluminium counter-blade allows you to perform clean cuts even after months of work. The whole effect and the stroke of the blade against the counter-blade considerably cuts down wrist kickback. The ergonomic swept-back handles are designed to further reduce the impact of wrist kick that can be an issue for the commercial user. Each of the secateurs we offer have proved immensely popular in vineyards and olive groves and are also suitable for general garden work. Both secateurs are the lightest in their categories, and this is achieved thanks to the weight reduction that is only possible with forged products. These secateurs are suitable for all types of cutting: viticulture, fruit harvesting, olive harvesting and gardening.

These are great grunty secs for people who need to cut through serious climbing rose wood, massive dahlia clumps and deal with smaller tree timber. Would not recommend them for smaller hands, they definitely need a strong grip and large span to get the most from them. But if you’re looking for heavy duty secs for big garden plants, this is the one. Love the bright orange handles!

Can't go wrong...

Recommended by an arborrist. Bought a pouch so still have both. The absolute best pruning tool. Have cut lots, big and small. Everyone uses them and gets the job done. Easy as to give the blade a little sharpen. Lifestyle owner perfect answer for decades of enjoyable ownership. Cheers from Waipu.

Castellari Secateurs

I used them for the roses as the Okatsune that I wanted were out of stock at rose pruning time. They worked fine, but they really shone when I used them for cutting up long fruit tree prunings, to fit into the garden waste bin. Even after a couple of hours of work, my wrists were not in the least overworked. That ergonomic design is excellent.
